(Cardiff by the Sea, Calif.) – Sanük announces continued growth with a 38 percent revenue increase from 2007 to 2008. 2009 preorders are up 248 percent; with a skyrocketing consumer following Sanük is on track for a record year.

According to the October market report from Leisure Trends Group, a leader in specialty retail market intelligence. According to the report, Sanük's market share increased from 5% to 12% of overall casual shoe dollars sold within the outdoor industry.

Sanük attributes its success to numerous factors, including: expanding into markets beyond its surfing heritage; maintaining corporate independence allowing creative strategy; popularity amongst well-known athletes and celebrities; and, great product.
