PrAna president and founder Beaver Theodosakis will be presenting a seminar at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2006, on behalf of the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) titled “The Youth Effect – Building Retail Business Through Influence.”

Theodosakis, an OIA board member, will lead the discussion on Friday, Aug. 11 from 12-1 in the Marriott Hotel, across from the Salt Palace, in Salon E.

Topics to be discussed include: how and why youth influences markets; the challenges and rewards involved in targeting this audience at retail as well as examples of how youth influences markets in other industries such as automobiles, food and fashion.

Theodosakis, 47, has more than two decades of experience building brands in the action sports and outdoor industries and has owned, operated or consulted several businesses focused on youth marketing.
