October 16, 2014 (COLORADO) - Lafuma America, the French based family of outdoor brands Lafuma, Millet, Eider, and Killy, is happy to announce their US headquarters and showroom relocation to downtown Louisville, CO, in November 2014. The second story space will host all office personnel, along with a 1,500 square foot showroom for retail buyers and media.

Lafuma America Brands

Widely known and respected in their native Europe, the collection of complimentary brands are primarily distributed in the US through specialty independent ski and outdoor retailers, along with key online dealers.

The brands in the group all have very distinct specialties: Lafuma has been developing fine outdoor furniture for camping, patio, and pool, since 1954. Originators of the zero gravity chair, all Lafuma furniture is still made at their headquarters, in Anneyron France. With roots in the French Alps and a partnership with the Chamonix Mountain Guides, Millet develops technical apparel and hard goods for alpinists, climbers, skiers, and hikers. Highly praised for their precise fits, fabrics, and attention to detail, Eider has been designing stylish ski and outdoor apparel for over 50 years. And Killy, the luxury ski apparel brand that was founded in part by Olympic Gold Medalist, Jean-Claude Killy.

Collectively, these high-quality brands strive to promote more enjoyable experiences in the outdoors. All four companies combine to represent over 250 years of experience serving outdoor needs. Each was started by small craftsmen and is led by a handful of highly motivated individuals. These brands have very unique histories; they evoke dreams and emotions, and whilst they are intricately connected to the early years of mountaineering and skiing, they have all kept pace with the changing times.

Louisville, CO, located east of Boulder, has received multiple “Best Small Town” awards over the last several years from national publications, and is adored for its vibrant business district, active community, and close proximity to a vast array of outdoor activities.

“By joining the Louisville community, we are able to offer a very dynamic and exciting work environment to our team in the heart of one of the coolest small town in the country!” says Lafuma Group General Manager, Guillaume Linossier. “Additionally, there are a great deal of passionate outdoor enthusiasts, skiers, and world travelers who call Louisville home, so it’s a natural fit for our US headquarters.”

The new address for the group will be:

Lafuma America

917 Front Street, #260

Louisville, CO 80027
