Hydro Flask Adds Three More Employees to Expanding Team
Inventory Manager, Sales Analyst and Production Support Engineer will help manage growth as Hydro Flask continues to gain traction in the outdoor and food and beverage spaces
Hydro Flask, the award-winning leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks, announces three more new hires to its growing team: Kim Flowers, Inventory Manager; Kathy Herrmann, Sales Analyst; and Matt Nahlik, Production Support Engineer.
Kim Flowers joins the team as Inventory Manager after 10 years with American Licorice Company, where she most recently served as Senior Manager, Business Process Improvement. In this role, Flowers managed and implemented process improvement strategies focused on safety, quality, delivery, customer engagement and profit. Flowers held several other positions at American Licorice Company, including Marketing and Sales Finance Manager, Demand Planning Manager/CRM Manager, and Wal-Mart Inventory Manager. She has also worked at CH Robinson Worldwide and Katun Corporation.
As Inventory Manager for Hydro Flask, Flowers is responsible for the company’s global inventory positioning and production planning in an effort to reduce total cost within the supply chain. She will also oversee Hydro Flask’s customization process.
Kathy Herrmann recently moved to Bend from Eugene, Ore., and joins the team as Sales Analyst. Previously, she was Chief Operating Officer for Burley Design LLC, where she was responsible for forecasting and pricing models, product quality monitoring and sales reporting, internal policies and procedures, and intellectual property. Herrmann worked closely with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing to develop programs, goals and metrics for the sales team. During her tenure with Burley Design, Herrmann also held positions in Forecasting and Operations, Sales and Customer Service, and Accounting.
As Sales Analyst for Hydro Flask, Herrmann is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data in order to increase sales productivity and operational efficiency. She is also responsible for the development and tracking of key performance indicators and account inventory allocations, quota setting and attainment, and demand and financial planning.
Matt Nahlik has joined Hydro Flask as Production Support Engineer. Prior to this, Nahlik spent three years at Intel Corporation, where he was a mechanical and manufacturing engineer. He worked on a multifunctional team to deliver industry-leading products to the server market and successfully launched more than 10 products during his tenure. For each product, he was responsible for its mechanical design and manufacturability throughout the entire product life cycle, including the bill of materials and mechanical and thermal testing.
As Production Support Engineer, Nahlik leads Hydro Flask’s manufacturing technical support and quality control efforts. He works closely with the sourcing team, product development engineer, category manager and sales team to implement and maintain a comprehensive quality program.
