January 15, 2014 (Rockford, Mich.) –For Fall 2014, Chaco continues its progression into a true four-season footwear brand with a diverse collection of light hiking boots, mountain lifestyle sneakers, and heritage-inspired Classic Z sandals. All new products feature Chaco’s LUVSEAT™, a footbed certified by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) for long-lasting support and comfort. Built to cradle every bone and muscle in the foot, the LUVSEAT is formulated from premium polyether polyurethane (PU) to provide genuine comfort that lasts. Each new style will debut in Chaco’s booth (#32136) at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market show.

“From The Vault” Collection

Chaco will celebrate its 25th anniversary by honoring the sandal that put them on the map—the Classic Z. Made in the USA, the “From The Vault” sandal collection will feature some of the most popular webbing from the past quarter century, the retro Chaco Gecko logo, and beloved Colorado outsole. The sandals are built on Chaco’s anatomically shaped LUVSEAT footbed. Chaco offers two women’s styles: the Z/2 Colorado in Ricochet and the ZX/2 Colorado in Window Pane and Ladybug, and two new men’s styles; the Z/1 Colorado in the ever-popular Sushi webbing and Z/2 Colorado in Snake Eyes. All sandals in the “From the Vault” collection come in a limited-edition shoebox and will retail for $125.

Active Adventure Platform

Chaco’s Active Adventure platform closed-toe shoes provide the ultimate in rugged comfort. With deeper lugs, more rugged outsoles, and additional waterproof options, both men’s and women’s styles are ready to take on higher ground in Fall 2014. These new shoes blend a waterproof bootie and nubuck-finished, high-quality waterproof PU coated leather for comfort and performance in even the wettest conditions. Each shoe is equipped with a LUVSEAT™ PU footbed and molded rubber heel stabilizers for comfortable foot and ankle support.
