Goal Zero Ships Highly Anticipated Rock Out 2 Rugged Portable Speaker

The Goal Zero Rock Out 2 is the ideal portable speaker for any outdoor activity. Users simply plug the attached auxiliary cable into their device’s headphone jack, zip it up and jam out to their favorite tunes while their phone is safe and sound inside the Rock Out 2’s rugged, water resistant shell.

Goal Zero is excited to announce it will offer a Realtree Camo version of the new Rock Out 2. Realtree, the market leader in camo patterns, is renowned for creating lifelike imagery and incredible attention to detail.

“The original Rock Out Speaker was very successful but we (Goal Zero) knew there was room for improvement and listened to our customers,” says Joe Atkin, President and CEO of Goal Zero. “We added more bass, external controls and larger fit for bigger smartphones. The new and improved Rock Out 2 provides the sound track for all your adventures.”

Like the original, Rock Out 2 features an internal Lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 20 hours or playback without draining the connected device’s battery. Rock Out 2 recharges in just 2 hours via USB or 3 hours from the sun with a Goal Zero Nomad 7 Solar Panel.

The Rock Out 2’s innovative chamber and DarkBass™ technology combine to deliver high-quality sound. The portable speaker connects easily to a tablet or laptop to play tracks, watch movies or enhance mobile gaming. The rugged speaker can also be daisy chained to other Rock Out 2 speakers for parties or anywhere an amplified listening experience is needed.

Rock Out 2 is available now at www.goalzero.com/rockout2/ in black green, blue and camo for $59.99
