Boulder, CO – March 14, 2016 – Active Interest Media (AIM) is proud to announce Tanya Faw Foster as its newest sales representative. In her position, Foster will represent the Backpacker, Climbing, SKI, Skiing and Warren Miller brands across the critical West Coast territory.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring in someone of Foster’s caliber,” said AIM Outdoor Group Director of Sales, Sharon Houghton. “Given her impressive background and proven track record, we know she is an excellent fit for this extremely important territory.”

Foster has an extensive sales background in the outdoor and media industries, most recently as a sales rep and new business development expert with IPA Connect. Foster previously managed multi-million dollar accounts for Patagonia, and has been an integral part of substantially increasing revenue year over year for multiple companies. She also has more than a decade of experience in the print media industry, as the associate publisher and sales manager for SAIL, Rock and Ice, and Trail Runner Magazines.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to work with titles that have the history, talent and respect that this group commands,” said Foster. “As a life-long skier, climber and backpacker, I feel like there couldn’t be a better personal fit, and am excited to join this phenomenal team.”

Tanya Faw Foster will be joining the AIM team on March 14th, based in Ventura, CA. Foster’s territory will include NM, AZ, CA, NV, UT, ID, OR, WA and BC Canada. She can be reached at TFoster@aimmedia.com or (805) 816-4354.
