The event will also include raffle prizes and souvenir reusable wine glasses priced at $5 to raise money for Big City Mountaineers. While drinking for a cause, attendees can learn more about ReCORK’s natural cork recycling initiative, get inspired by other organizations that are actively making a difference in our communities, and meet like-mined people who believe in the importance of environmental sustainability.

Over 31 billion bottles of wine are consumed worldwide every year. Unfortunately, the majority of the wine corks used end up in the trash. ReCORK™ sponsored by SOLE™ is here to change that with North America’s largest natural cork recycling initiative. ReCORK gives wine corks new life in the form of footwear and other upcycled products. The ReCORK initiative is based in the U.S. and has over 1800 collection partners. Learn more at recork.org.

Born in Vancouver, Canada, SOLE™ is an eco-minded active lifestyle footwear brand. Always aiming to improve quality of life, the SOLE culture is oriented around community, sustainability, pain relief, and looking for new ways to accomplish traditional business goals. To learn more at yoursole.com.
