Tennessee-based Rock/Creek Outfitters sold to Uncle Dan's last month.
Rock/Creek, a beacon for outdoor specialty retail, on April 20 announced that it had sold to Uncle Dan's, a subsidiary of Camping World Holdings. The corporation has recently been on a buying spree, also snapping up Erehwon Mountain Outfitters earlier this year. We've heard mixed response from both readers and leaders in the industry.
