Wilderness Systems announced that it has launched a redesign of its website, www.wildernesssystems.com, which features improvements in navigation, customer service, product information, and retailer support. The new site also has a strong emphasis on the growing kayak fishing segment, with a section devoted to the sport and the Wilderness Systems Fishing Team.

“The new site is not only a resource for current and potential Wilderness Systems owners, but also for fishermen,” said Kelley Woolsey, Executive VP of Marketing and Sales at Confluence Watersports. “Wildy has been the leader in the growth of the sport, and the new site with its updates from our team and fishing related multimedia content will drive more interest in the sport.”

Along with an improved dealer locator, the new site gives visitors the ability to download PDF versions of the current Wilderness Systems catalog, in its entirety or by specific product category, as well as rudder installation and boat repair instructions. Along with images and information on all Wilderness Systems boats and accessories, owners can submit their warranty registration, and new buyers can find information and suggestions on selecting the proper kayak and paddle, and tips on boat care.

The kayak fishing section includes profiles of the Wilderness Systems Kayak Fishing Team, kayak fishing news, and information on kayak fishing events around the country. Additionally, team members, like Dean “Slowride” Thomas, who operates a guide service in Aransas Pass, Texas, will be posting updates, tips, images, and video.
