Promotional Pros and Legal Pitfalls of Social Media Campaigns and Online Advertising



Boulder, CO — March 7, 2011 — On Tuesday, March 8, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm (Mountain) Outdoor Industry Association® (OIA) will present Promotional Pros and Legal Pitfalls of Social Media Campaigns and Online Advertising, a live webinar led by Matti Neustadt Storie, attorney with the Technology and Intellectual Property group at Stoel Rives LLP, and Jim Lahren, strategic marketing specialist and principal of JAL Consulting.

The online discussion will focus on:

  • Case studies on social media marketing campaigns: what has worked, what has not
  • Recent significant impacts of social marketing
  • Tips for managing social media, including social media policy requirements
  • Changes in the law that impact how a brand can build a presence online and, particularly, through social media

Brand managers, marketing managers, marketing counsel or company executives involved in developing, expanding or protecting their brand’s social media presence will gain valuable insights and procedural tips on how to develop a social media presence while minimizing risks to their brand.
