TIMEX® Launches Retailer Training Initiative

Iconic watch brand partners with 3point5.com for retailer education program

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Feb. 19, 2009) Timex, a leader in outdoor and sports performance timepieces, today announced a partnership with retail training network 3point5.com (http://www.3point5.com) that will enhance vendors' knowledge of the Timex® Ironman® and Timex® Expedition® brands' robust product portfolios.

“Timex offers a wide range of instruments for elite athletes, open-air adventurers, fitness enthusiasts and outdoor-lovers,” said Theresa Jachmowicz, sales support manager at Timex. “This partnership with 3point5.com ensures Timex's sports and outdoor retail partners are armed with an intimate understanding of our technologies.”

The initiative includes the launch of a dedicated Timex Web site at 3point5.com that will utilize the system's signature training platforms to equip hundreds of sports and outdoor merchants nationwide assisting customers interested in Timex products.
