Stormy Kromer announces its 2016 Brand Ambassadors

Ironwood, MI — Stormy Kromer, makers of functional headwear born in the wilds of the northern Midwest, has selected a diverse group of twenty ambassadors to represent the brand for 2016.

“From outdoorsmen and women, to artisans, to farmers, to Midwestern expats, these individuals represent a cross section of the Stormy Kromer lifestyle,” said Gina Thorsen, Stormy Kromer president. “And while having varied backgrounds and interests they all share a love for Stormy Kromer.”

Throughout the year the ambassadors will share their stories and images on their own and Stormy Kromer’s website and social channels. Additionally, the ambassadors will be providing product feedback, product development ideas, and supporting Stormy Kromer marketing initiatives.

Each ambassador will be outfitted with Stormy Kromer caps and apparel including a selection from its first Spring Collection. The collection of bucket, trucker, and warmer twists on its cold weather styles will be available online and at Stormy Kromer retailers in the end of March.

Hailing from thirteen states and provinces the 2016 Stormy Kromer Ambassadors include:

Eric Bartle, Forest Grove, OR: Eric is an executive chef, and when he’s not in the kitchen he can be found in his Stormy Kromer out fly fishing, hunting or foraging for wild edibles- a skill which he also teaches.

Andy Case, Howell, MI: Andy’s alter ego, “The Midwestern Gentleman” epitomizes Stormy Kromer style. He calls MWG “his ode to the Midwest lifestyle and the people, places and businesses that make it the greatest place on earth”. www.midwesterngentleman.com

Nic Drago, Frisco, CO: A former professional snowboarder, Nic grew up in Jackson, Michigan and has a growing collection of Stormy Kromer caps that go with him on all his outdoor adventures – from hiking to shooting to riding motorcycles.

Terryn Drielin, Lakeside, NE: A self proclaimed Stormy Kromer “fanatic”, blogger Terryn is a mother, photographer and cattle rancher who responsibly raises high-quality beef. www.faithfamilyandbeef.com

Mike Forester, Marquette, MI: A creative art director, Mike was introduced to Stormy Kromer by his dad, but he wasn’t sure about the allure until he moved to the U.P. from Detroit. Tom Handley, New York, NY: A professor at Parsons School for Design, Tom is a Michigander and lifelong fashion insider. Tom contributes to several men’s fashion websites and has a passion for Made in the USA products and heritage brands.

Adam Noll, Signal Mountain, TN: Adam, also known as @ThatOutdoorGuy, is one of the most well-known adventurers in the greater Chattanooga, TN, area. Mesa Pate, Ryegate, MT: Mesa is deeply involved in the bull riding industry and was one of the first women to haul bulls on the Professional Bull Riders tour. These days she’s busy raising bulls, training horses and representing a cattle sales company.

Mark & Jennifer Rohrich, Ashley, ND: Jenny is a born and raised California girl who fell in love with a third-generation North Dakota farmer, Mark. Dan Small, Westby, WI: As host of the weekly Public TV show Outdoor Wisconsin for the past 32 years and Outdoors Radio for last 10, Dan Small is a familiar name and face to many SK fans.
