Boulder, Colo. - SCARPA North America this week added new sales representation in the Northeastern United States. Velocity Sales will represent the SCARPA brand in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island, effective immediately.
Bringing 50 years of cumulative experience in the outdoor industry, Velocity Sales includes Mike Schmidt, Bill Bruzzese and Jason Cote. Beyond their time in the outdoor industry, Schmidt, Bruzzese and Cote bring 25 years of experience working specifically with technical outdoor footwear and ski boots in New England.
Along with SCARPA, Velocity Sales represents Marmot, Atlas, Nikwax and Katadyn. The agency is headquartered in Stowe, Vt.
“Over the years, Velocity has earned a name as one of the premier outdoor sales agencies in New England, and I know they're extremely well positioned to build on the momentum we have in that territory,†said Mark Mathews, SCARPA North America Director of Sales. “Not only that, like all of the SCARPA team, they're avid users of the product, so they know from personal experience how to use, sell and service our products.â€
Velocity Sales takes over from longtime industry rep and climber John Bragg, who left the sales representation business to take a job in-house with the American Alpine Club.
Velocity Sales can be reached at (802) 777-8613 or email@example.com.
