Ogden, UT—October 7, 2013—Salomon Sports—a leader in technical design and innovation in mountain sports—is proud to announce the Salomon Fellraiser won the Fit, Feel, Ride Award for Best New Model for 2013 from Competitor magazine. Out of more than 30 models that were tested over thousands of off-road miles since the spring, the Fellraiser clearly rose above the competition.
The Salomon Fellraiser is a low, lightweight and fast-drying trail shoe for training in muddy and wet conditions.
Competitor testers and editors agreed that Salomon’s Fellraiser surpassed other trail running models in a number of categories. “The Fellraiser was notable for its energetic and responsive ride, great traction, clinched-down fit and optimal feel for the trail, all of which were factors that contributed to it earning the award,” said Competitor Editor-in-Chief, Brian Metzler.
“We are thrilled to receive this award,” said Chris Dunn, Salomon’s footwear product category manager. “The Fellraiser, like all Salomon shoes, is comfortable and fits great right out of the box. In addition, it’s a nimble, flexible trail shoe that excels in wet, sloppy autumn conditions. ”
