BORDENTOWN, N.J. – Today, Princeton Tec, an American manufacturer of innovative outdoor lighting, launches two newest additions to their quiver of dive illumination tools with the League 100 ($49.99) and Amp 1LC ($17.99) handheld lights.
“The League 100 changes the way we look at a 4 AA battery platform with a completely fresh style, feel, and design of a lighting concept that’s been around for awhile,” said Bradley Strahm, Princeton Tec dive division manager. “The Amp 1LC compliments the League 100 with its compact size and diffusing capabilities. Both together provide an ideal illumination package.”
The new League 100’s top characteristics are comfort and ease of use. Featuring one Maxbright LED and 210 lumens of power, the League 100 touts a burntime of 10 hours and casts light for a long spotting distance. The light uses 4 AA batteries.
Offering a more user-friendly design, the League 100’s 12-degree angled head promotes a natural position for the wrist keeping it comfortably straight. A large on/off locking toggle switch provides easy operation even for those activities that require gloves and a large strap loop helps prevent dropping or losing the light. A double O-ring seal keeps the League 100 free of moisture. Available in neon yellow, blue, black, white, and pink.
The 2 AA battery Amp 1LC features a snap-on phosphorus cone that fits snuggly and helps diffuse light for high-level visibility. Boasting 45 lumens, one Maxbright LED, and a weight of 57 grams, the Amp 1LC pushes out 50 hours of burntime and is waterproof to 300 feet. With a large strap loop, this handheld light can hang off your BC vest or other gear too. Available in black, neon yellow, and blue.
