prAna's Green Exhibit by Greenspace Earns Best of Booth at Outdoor Retailer
Hillsboro, ORâ€”August 27, 2012â€”Greenspace, a creator of award-winning sustainable tradeshow exhibits, received a Best of Booth (BOB) Award at Outdoor Retailer for the new exhibit it fabricated for prAna. BOB winners were chosen based on clarity of brand messaging in merchandising, success in standing out, and exciting use of color, material and design detailsâ€”by Robin Enright, merchandising editor of SNEWS, a news publication serving the outdoor retailer community.
prAna was chosen as Best Overall Booth for its seamless introduction of the experience of the brandâ€”created from materials that conform with prAna's commitment to minimal waste and kindness to the earth. The exhibit, ringed by high walls and playful arrangements of cardboard tubes, leveraged hemp ropes, spools of thread and fabric scrap balls to evoke a feeling of warm whimsy. Ropes of moss and basil stimulated visitors' sense of smell, and new copper prAna logos gained patina from a nontoxic vinegar mixture.
The exhibit was designed in-house at prAna and fabricated by Greenspace. Greenspace contributed to fifteen exhibits at the show. This is the 6th BOB Award Greenspace has earned. Prior BOB-winning exhibit fabricated by Greenspace include Keen, Sea to Summit, Gregory Packs, Chooze, and Outdoor Research.
