OutdoorIndustryJobs.com Launches NaturalIndustryJobs.com

Woodland, CA -- NaturalIndustryJobs.com, a much needed job board serving the natural and organic product industry, was launched in February of 2011.

Laurel King, owner and founder said, “In this particular industry, a passion for the eating, promoting and using products with natural and/organic ingredients is the common denominator between the jobseeker and the employer. Our mission is to provide the platform where 'the passion can happen' for both jobseekers and employers alike so they may form mutually beneficial life and business relationships."

The self-serve site enables the Natural and Organic Product Industry jobseeker and employer to network and connect. The service is free for job seekers to post their availability and to apply for jobs. Employers can do a limited search for free, but are charged for posting and resume searches.

NaturalIndustryJobs.com is owned and operated by OutdoorIndustryJobs.com, a successful job board that serves the outdoor, bicycling, fitness, fishing and hunting & shooting industries. Laurel said," I felt there was a significant commonality between the two industry groups (natural and organic, and outdoor), that this model of helping people to connect in the Natural & Organic Industry will be successful as well. Many companies in the outdoor industry also market their products in the natural and organic industry."

NaturalIndustryJobs.com includes sophisticated searches and posting features for both job seekers and employers. Job seekers may search and apply instantly, receive job matches via email and post their resumes. Employers can post their jobs and candidate profiles, opt to search and automatically receive resumes of available candidates. Independent sales reps and brokers also can post their availability, what territories they cover and lines they currently carry.

"Often times landing a job in the natural and organic industry depends on who you know and your contacts. NaturalIndustryJobs.com allows jobseekers who have experience and skills sets in other industries to find jobs in the natural industry. I think this outreach is critical to the success of finding good people to work in the industry," said Laurel.

In addition, the employer can connect to jobseekers without going through a recruiter. "I have had several recruiters call me and say that this online tool is desperately needed in the industry," said Laurel, "particularly for those jobseekers seeking entry-level or middle to upper-end positions."
