About: Outdoorindustryjobs.com has been serving the outdoor industry and its sectors (outdoors, snow sports, bicycle, fishing, hunting and shooting, fitness, climbing and paddle sports, action sports) for 14 years. It’s a platform for jobseekers to find a career and work in the outdoor industry where the employer and fellow employees have a passion for the outdoors. Employers can find and hire qualified candidates of all levels. The jobseeker, with the appropriate business skills, will be more likely to fit into the established "culture" of the company.

Laurel King, owner and founder said “You have an avid bicyclist, rafting guide or climber finding and applying for jobs who has a degree and business skills and is unhappy working for the corporate world or other companies un-related to the outdoor industry. Other jobseekers already in the industry find and apply for jobs as well. As opposed to posting your jobs on large general jobs boards such as Indeed or LinkedIn, your audience is much more targeted and you will receive higher-quality applicants. This is our feedback from some of the approximately 5500 employers that have posted jobs on the site over the years”.

OutdoorIndustryJobs.com is a self-serve site where employers can pay and post their jobs and jobseekers can upload their resumes and apply directly to the employer. “Of course, help is always an email or phone call away”, said Laurel King.

“By the way”, said Laurel “we also run and operate NaturalIndustryJobs.com, a job board that serves the Natural and Organic Industry. There is a cross-over between the two industries, so if you are looking to find a job or post a job in this industry it is a great resource.
