With an early start, we had our game faces on when we arrived at 9am. Upon walking in the door of the show, we signed LIBERTY BOTTLE WORKS, a perfect fit for our Made-in-America theme. This company stands up for American jobs, green products and eco-friendly choices. Liberty Bottle Works will be contributing nearly $3,000 for the NORTH AMERICAN ADVENTURE RACING SERIES providing us a platform to showcase their new sport cap and insulation sleeves. We also placed a 75 bottle order on their hottest designs which you can view at their website. Bottles will be available at our location and online store SHOP ADVENTURE SPORTS.

Excitingly enough our next meeting resulted in an increased sponsorship from DARN TOUGH VERMONT SOCKS. Made in Vermont, these merino wool socks have been standing up to the elements for TeamSOG and adventure racers around the world. By far the best sock on the market, we're thrilled to continue retailing and spreading the Darn Tough word. The company will be sponsoring NAARS and TeamSOG with $5000 worth of gear for the series in 2013 and are in the works of negotiating a "sockumentary" produced by our sister company GNARLY CREW MEDIA.

Lucky meeting number three led us to SCOTT SPORTS RUNNING committing to the third consecutive year of sponsorship of American Adventure Sports platforms and TeamSOG providing us with $12,500 worth of shoes for podium winners at NAARS prestige races and the SCOTT TRAILAPALOOZA. The company will be releasing a number of new trail running models for spring and fall of 2013 which had us peeing our pants in excitement as we checked out their innovative design including the T2 Kinabalu. The shoe is the ultimate lightweight trail machine. Maximum protection and traction at minimal weight and an ideal balance of lightweight materials, cushioning, protection and quick response thanks to eRide Technology. It's shaped for smooth transition whether you are striking on the heel, mid foot or forefoot to adapt to the varied terrain. The Kinabalu is their lightest trail shoe with uncompromised traction and protection, featuring an AeroFoam midsole, which is 50% lighter than traditional EVA foams.

Adding to our Made in America theme, Our favorite headlamp PRINCETON TEC committed to us for the fifth consecutive year providing both the team and series $6,000 worth of gear. Our most exciting find at the booth was their newest addition the Vizz! This compact halogen unit provides the highest power-to-weight ratio of any light in its class. The non-slip rubber grip ensures you'll be able to securely hold the light even if you're diving at 100 meters. Another fun fact included the our favorite little lamp, the Byte, is now manufactured at 50 lumens instead of 35 but is still at the $19.99 price point. It's for sure the best lamp on the market for someone looking to pick up an economical piece.

In addition to these products, we have also signed for the second consecutive year with Cablz eye wear retention products providing us with $500 worth of xtremz eye wear retainers. Our newest addition to the sponsor family is ZEMgear. This company creates performance protection for bare feet. They deliver minimal footwear with maximum protection. The shoes allow your feet to do what they were designed to do best in their natural, barefoot state. While wearing ZEMs, you can spread, flex and articulate all parts of your foot, getting everything you need and nothing you don't. The company will be donating 36 pairs for the team and series in 2013!
