Highly functional sporting equipment is in demand and must be well designed for maximum performance. The OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD offers consumers a point of reference and gives the industry an incentive to present their products and see how they measure up to today's market standards.

Winners will be announced on Sunday, 23rd July 2006 and the award-winning entries will be displayed in the entrance area at the OutDoor trade fair. Online registrations will be accepted from now until 2nd June 2006. Contact: www.ifdesign.de.

Another new feature at this year's OutDoor trade event is the selection of an outstanding corporate personality from the outdoor industry. The exclusive OutDoor Celebrity of the Year 2006 award will be presented in conjunction with the trade show. A panel of media representatives will select the winner based on a majority vote.
