Osprey’s Straightjacket Compression Sacks, with compressible nylon wings and buckles, are rectangular in shape and designed to fit the width of the pack. Ultralight GrabBag : Osprey’s new Ultralight GrabBag easily connects to most backpacks, creating extra space on the pack. When it’s time to leave the pack behind for a mini-adventure, it converts to a lumbar pack, allowing the backpacker to grab and go. MSRP: $25
Alpine Pocket : This removable accessory adds 3 liters to packs when attached, and can be easily removed for day-trip use. MSRP: $35
Ultralight MapWrap : Nobody likes a soggy map. Osprey’s Ultralight MapWrap will keep this all-important traveler tool protected, thanks to its waterproof welded seams and sleeve closure. When not in use, the MapWrap rolls up and can attach to a pack via carabiner clips. MSRP: $25
