Culminating years of development and testing with professional athletes, Kayland introduces a line of trail runners; and, in response to emerging trends and feedback from its retailers, the Italian footwear manufacturer has also greatly expanded its hiking category for 2008.

“Based on the recognition we've received as result of industry awards and outstanding product reviews, we believe we are well positioned to expand existing lines and introduce new ones,” explains Brent Merriam, vice president of Novation North America, Inc., the US subsidiary of Kayland's parent company, Novation S.p.A. “As with all of our new products, we spent a great deal of time testing and tweaking with our athletes to ensure we deliver the best performance footwear on the market.”
