Bellingham, WA -- For the 4th consecutive year, McNett® Corporation with the help of local sponsors, will send 10 deserving vets to the Hunting with Heroes™ veteran appreciation weekend taking place October 2-5 in Klickitat, WA. Hunting with Heroes is an annual event to honor veterans in their community as well as provide a healing experience for area vets.
“The Hunting with Heroes weekend offers so much more than guided hunting excursions, trophy steelhead and amazing BBQ,” said Travis Huisman, McNett CEO, “but it also gives local Veterans a venue for connecting with other service members.”
Participants will begin their journey to the hunting and fishing grounds on Thursday, October 2 at noon. Celebrity and Golden Globe nominee, Ronald Lee Ermey, AKA “the Gunny,” will lead a procession of motorcycles driven by the Legion Riders, Patriot Guard Riders and Bellingham Police Department through town. Veterans will be escorted in VIP-fashion via a parade route as local schools and businesses wave flags and wish them well before heading east for an amazing weekend of hunting and fishing.
