Two Harbors, MN – After more than a decade of award-winning backpack production, Granite Gear is now expanding into a new market of lifestyle gear with its versatile line of Packable Duffels. The new lightweight collection includes four different sizes, which feature Granite Gear’s BARRIER water-repellence technology and complete Taurpalite fabric construction for maximum protection against the elements.

“When developing new products, our main concern is a high level of functionality,” notes Granite Gear’s Sr. Director of Design & Development Michael Meyer. “We’re confident that the versatility of these packs will allow them to easily fit into any lifestyle, whether they’re being used for adventure travel or a quick trip to the gym.”

Available in 20", 24", 30" and 36", each duffel can be carried by hand using the reinforced duffle handle straps or as a backpack with its load-stabilizing and adjustable sternum straps. The carrying case, which the duffle can pack in to, can be attached to the bag via MOLLE Loops as an extra compartment. Duffels feature large U-shaped zippered main compartment with zipper storm flap, a BARRIER zipper tricot lined pocket for valuables, multiple webbing haul handles and additional MOLLE lash points for easy attachments.

Offered in four sizes: 20", 40L, weighs 1.4lbs, MSRP: $49.99. 24", 60L, weighs 1.5lbs, MSRP: $59.99. 30", 100L, 1.8lbs, MSRP: $69.99. 36", 145L, 2.3lbs, MSRP: $79.99.
