Boulder, CO—April 1, 2013 – Footbalance, an innovator in custom footbed technology, is offering retailers the chance to race in the XTERRA World or National Championship races in 2013.

Based on sales numbers, one person from each of the top four retail stores in North America will win a trip to Hawaii including airfare plus three nights’ accommodation and an entry into the XTERRA Tri or Trail Run World Championships. The next six highest volume retailers will receive one entry into the XTERRA Trail Run National Championships in Ogden, Utah.

“Not only do our retailers work hard helping athletes get the perfect custom fit, most of them are also athletes themselves. So, this is the perfect opportunity for shops to show their local pride and promote their store while enjoying an exciting competition as a reward for their hard work promoting Footbalance,” said Footbalance North America Director of Sales Chris Griffin.

Footbalance is a current sponsor of XTERRA Championship events for 2013 and will provide participating athletes discounted footbeds at these races. Footbalance provides better support and foot health for training and competition.

“This program is a way for the top Footbalance North America retailers to experience XTERRA first hand,” says Griffin. “They’ll get to see the product in action on some of the top athletes in the world, and they’ll even get to race alongside them. This is a fun way for us to engage our retailers and thank them for their hard work.”

With its North American Headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, Footbalance was developed by a Finnish physiotherapist specializing in podiatric medicine. The system enables the rapid production of fully customized footbeds at retail stores in less than ten minutes. Available for fittings at shops and special events across the US and Canada, Footbalance footbeds support your feet in proper alignment to promote healthy foot function, improving overall body alignment. www.footbalance.com www.twitter.com/footbalance www.facebook.com/FootbalanceCustomFootbeds
