NEW YORK - Aug. 22, 2006 - Everlast® Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: EVST), manufacturer, marketer and licensor of sporting goods, apparel footwear and other active lifestyle products under the Everlast brand name, today announced a new extension of their license with Sports & Leisure Technology Corporation, a division of Sportline, Inc. to make fitness related toys and heart rate monitors in the United States and Canada.

This product line, which will be sold in various retailers, will include boxing related toys, games and kits. These boxing fitness toys will be developed to encourage youth fitness training at an early age. Everlast and Sports and Leisure believe these products will promote good fitness habits to children at an early age and help them to stay more active throughout life.

The newly signed agreement will also include heart rate monitors. The heart rate monitors will aid in increasing peak athletic performance and provide encouragement to improve the condition of the average fitness regimen. The agreement to produce these new products represents an expansion of Everlast's longstanding relationship with Sports and Leisure, which has developed high quality hand held fitness related equipment as a licensee for Everlast in the U.S. over the past five years.

Seth Horowitz, Chairman, President and CEO of Everlast Worldwide Inc., said, "The toy products will be designed to promote physical activity by children in an effort to tackle the serious child obesity epidemic. Boxing is a great way for kids to get a workout, while at the same time having fun. We are happy to be involved with the creation of products that will encourage children to engage in physical activity and help benefit their health and overall well being."

President, Brian Anderson of Sports and Leisure Technology added, "We are truly excited about the launch of these new products. The authenticity and staying power of the Everlast brand throughout different markets make this a great marriage of brand and product, and these new items are a great compliment to our wildly successful Everlast fitness line."

Hal Worsham, Senior Vice President of Global Licensing for Everlast stated, "Heart rate monitors are a tremendous brand extension for Everlast as we continue to increase our assortment in the fitness category. This product has become a key tool in today's fitness routine as it is increasingly important to monitor heart rate to ensure effective fitness workouts."
