SEATTLE, Wash. – October 27, 2014 – Eddie Bauer announces today the launch of a coat drive in partnership with One Warm Coat, the only national non-profit organization that works with local agencies to distribute donated coats for free, to people in need.

Today through Sunday, November 2, 2014 all 330 Eddie Bauer retail and outlet stores across North America will be collecting new and gently used coats on behalf of One Warm Coat. People can also make a $5 donation directly to One Warm Coat by texting COLD to 80100 ($5 will be added to the donor’s cell phone bill. Standard message and data rates may apply).

One Warm Coat has a long-standing commitment with groups, companies and organizations across the country to deliver donated coats directly to local agencies who in turn ensure coats are distributed free of charge to people in need.
