AUBURN NH- Building on the success of their 2018 debut with Fischer Grants, Fischer Skis is adding to the overall fund with a focused backcountry grant. “With the growth of the touring community and our product leadership in that scene, we’re proud to add to the efforts of trail builders and organizations increasing access and education,” described Brian Landrigan, Fischer Skis USA’s Marketing Manager.

A significant amount of the marketing budget will be earmarked for backcountry focused grants with the criteria including education and safety measures, program equipment and access measures. This year’s Fischer Grant recipients included nordic snowmaking ventures and efforts to add underrepresented minority populations to alpine skier days.

Fischer’s backcountry product lineup can be seen at Fischer dealers and through the Fischer website, including the recent, annual TransAlp effort.
