Who’s on the move: Roger Spatz new CEO at Eagle Creek; Evolv and Granite Gear add reps; Martin|Williams to promote Wolverine
- Eagle Creek, in San Diego, officially named Roger Spatz the brand’s president following his service as interim president since July 2011. Spatz joined Eagle Creek’s parent company VF Corp. in 2004 as CFO for VF Outlet, and in 2008, he moved to CFO of Reef and Eagle Creek. Prior to joining VF, Roger was the COO of Cambridge-Lee Industries a global manufacturer of copper products.
- Granite Gear, in Two Harbors, Minn., named John Swartz as its new representative for its South/Central region, including Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri and Texas. Swartz began his background in sales in the computer industry before moving into outdoor products a few years ago. Evolv Footwear Adds New Reps in the Northeast
- Evolv Sports, in Buena Park, Calif., added Hans Schneider and Schneider Sales Associates, in Burlington, Vt., as its representatives in the Northeast. In addition to Evolv, Schneider Sales Associates manages business in the Northeast region for Kahtoola, Granite Gear, Salewa, Dynafit, Cocoon, Sport-Hansa, Klymit, Pomoca, and Kayak Distribution.
- Wolverine hired Martin|Williams Advertising as its agency of record to provide strategic marketing and creative services for its Wolverine brand of footwear, including the work, outdoor, heritage, and apparel product lines.
