There’s no stopping this generation of consumers. They’re going to bring their electronics outdoors.

Smartphones, tablets, video cameras, lighting, Bluetooth speakers and GPS devices are becoming essential gear in packs and at campsites. While this may be to the chagrin of outdoor, get-away-from-it-all purists, electronics can extend outdoor adventures and present opportunities for specialty retail to sell accessory portable power solutions.

Read this Retail College chapter to help your customers keep everything charged and running while away from the wall socket with an array of portable power options. Find out which energy solution is best for the customer’s device, duration of trip and environment.

A printed version of this digital flipbook (click right) was mailed to more than 1,400 specialty retail shops in December and it is one in a series of special Retail College How To Sell chapters the SNEWS team produces.

If you would like your store’s name added to our mailing list to receive future training chapters, or if you are a manufacturer and would like to find out how you can work with SNEWS in producing a future “How To Sell” guide, contact our sales and marketing director, Elizabeth Averbeck at eaverbeck@aimmedia.com.
