FITS manufactures their socks in the oldest operating hosiery mill in the U.S., going back to 1902, giving FITS a strong and storied company history, technical expertise and long-held knowledge of fit and comfort. The family-owned company has always been committed to its vision and protecting the jobs of their 160 employees.

As of 2010 the Mill has launched their own brand with their own proprietary knitting process and technology. FITS will continue to roll out new models as an emerging market leader. To date they offer socks for hiking, camping, outdoor recreation and snow recreation in high and low profiles. This winter they have launched a full SKI/Winter sport line of socks released at the Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City and the SIA Snow Sports Show in Denver.
