The Scandinavian Village returns to the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2010 for its second year. Located in the main hall, the Scandinavian Village will include Hilleberg the Tentmaker, 66North, Dale of Norway, Bergans of Norway, Craft/Karhu North America, Icebug, Light my Fire, Woolpower, and Sk Hoop.

The Scandinavian Village Bar will be open daily serving free coffee (sponsored by Holland and Hart) all day, and microbrews in the afternoon from 4 – 7 p.m. And don't miss the Party with the Vikings / Scandinavian Get-Together on Friday Jan 22nd from 4 to 7pm. Skål!

In 2001, 30 leading Scandinavian outdoor brands founded the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (S.O.G.) to increase recognition and trust for Scandinavian outdoor products along with their traditions and activities. S.O.G. members created the successful Scandinavian Village, which has become a highlight of major trade shows such as ISPO, OutDoor, and Outdoor Retailer. With their authentic heritage and high quality products, Scandinavian brands attract and charm customers. The Village's inviting Scandinavian Bar, appealing Scandinavian snacks and famous Scandinavian smiles, all attest that it is highly profitable – not to mention – a great deal of fun to do business with Scandinavians!

About S.O.G.
The Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) is a non-profit association of leading Scandinavian outdoor brands. S.O.G.'s purpose is to grow export business and strengthen members' image as reliable partners for high-quality service through joint projects supporting trade and retail customers on export markets outside of Scandinavia. SOG activities are aimed at increasing recognition and trust for Scandinavian outdoor products, our outdoor traditions and activities, as well as our respect for nature. SOG makes it easier and more cost effective for each individual member to be more successful in export business and brand positioning than they would be on their own. www.scandinavianoutdoors.com
