UCO Provides Light to Hurricane Sandy Relief and Recovery Efforts

Industrial Revolution, Inc., has donated over $5000 worth of UCO lighting and fire starting products to Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts.

TUKWILA, WA – Industrial Revolution, Inc., the manufacturer and worldwide distributor of UCO outdoor, home, and emergency preparedness lighting and fire starting products, has recently donated over $5000 worth of products to Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts through international relief agency Operation USA.

UCO Micro Candle Lanterns, extra candles, and UCO Survival Match packs are included in Operation USA’s supply shipments to aid individuals and families struggling in the aftermath of “Superstorm” Hurricane Sandy. Working with community-based organizations such as Rebuild Staten Island Foundation and the Lower Eastside Girls Club, Operation USA provides supplies and support where its needed—from emergency, shelter and cleaning supplies, to assisting community health clinics to restore services to best serve their communities.

Operation USA is also working to aid relief efforts in storm-impacted Haiti and Cuba—focusing its efforts on education and health projects.
