Raleigh Heightens Brand Accessibility with Three Dealer Events

KENT, Wash. (February 22, 2011) – Raleigh Bicycles is taking an omnipresent approach to supporting dealers this summer by hosting its annual dealer event and symposium at Suncadia resort in Washington, participating in DealerCamp™ in Deer Valley in July and further stepping up its presence at Interbike in September.

“We want to make the brand as accessible as possible and connect with our dealers in a meaningful way,” said Steve Meineke, President of Raleigh America. “By investing in three different events during the buying season, we're giving independent dealers more opportunity to experience our 2012 collection and provide feedback on a deeper level.”

The official reveal of Raleigh America's 2012 product line, including its Raleigh, Diamondback, Diamondback BMX and Avenir lines, will commence July 19-22 during the brand's third annual dealer event and symposium held at Suncadia resort in Washington's Cascade Mountains. Nearly 100 dealers plan to attend the event along with the industry's leading advocacy organizations, Asian suppliers and journalists to discuss product innovation, industry advancements, retail challenges and marketing initiatives. A highlight of the event for many is the opportunity to test ride Raleigh's newest and most innovative product twice a day in the Cascades alongside the pristine Cle Elum River, according to Meineke.

Raleigh will transport its fleet following Suncadia to DealerCamp July 26-28 in Deer Valley, Utah. Dealers who attend the industry camp will be given the opportunity to experience Raleigh's latest road and 29-inch mountain bike innovations, two of Raleigh's fastest growing categories.

To complete its summer of events and dealer interactions, Raleigh will again support Interbike, Sept 14-16, in Las Vegas. The 2011 show will be Raleigh's 30th consecutive year of participating in the expo.

“We believe that the gathering of the cycling community once a year is imperative,” Meineke said. “Interbike is a vital part of the American cycling industry. It gives us a chance to meet and work closely with our dealers, suppliers, and media friends to envision, discuss, and design our path as partners in this community.”
