BOULDER, Colo. (September 15, 2008) – When it comes to tailgating, backyard barbecues or an outdoor concert, the amount of gear that gets hauled along can be overwhelming. To help lighten the load and keep things organized, Slumberjack® introduces a new line of cooler seats that combine the comfort of a camp chair with the storage and organization of a cooler.

The line is highlighted by Slumberjack's Deluxe Cooler Seat ($69.99), which features an insulated cooler with generous capacity for beverages, food and anything else one wants to keep cool. It also comes with two detachable cooler cubes that easily mount on the side of the seat for easy access. It even incorporates a unique beverage holder system and multiple storage pockets for fast, easy access to beverages, keys, cell phone and other gear.

The fully collapsible seat features a lightweight, yet durable aluminum construction with a 600 x 300 poly-oxford seat. The seat is made from 100 percent PVC-free fabric. The chair measures 17.25 in. by 18 in. by 12 in. and has a weight capacity of up to 325 lbs.

“Take a look at anyone who's headed to a concert in the park, tailgate or youth soccer game,” said Kenny Ballard, president of Slumberjack. “They're loaded down with chairs, tables, coolers, food and other items. Our cooler seats help to minimize the amount of gear you need to take along with you. Plus, they keep everything organized and well within reach – they're ideal for any type of outdoor activity.”

In addition to the Deluxe Cooler Seat, Slumberjack is offering a Standard Cooler Seat ($49.99) that incorporates the same features as the deluxe version, minus the cooler cubes and beverage organizer. The Standard Cooler Seat comes with a Slumberjack-branded bottle opener.

The Deluxe and Standard Cooler Seats come with a lifetime guarantee, ensuring each product is free from defects in material and workmanship. Both cooler seats will be available spring 2009.
