Enjoy the sun:
coldblack® sun reflector- UV protector
A new finishing technology from Schoeller Technologies and Clariant International Ltd. that reduces heat build up, coldblack® will keep you cool and offers protection from the sun's harmful rays.

Traditionally, dark colored clothing hasn't been an ideal choice in the summertime because it absorbs both visible and invisible rays from the sun, becoming hot to the touch and creating an unpleasant interior climate. With the introduction of coldblack®, this is no longer the case. Now you can choose black for waders, darker shades for tents, climbing pants and jackets and stay cooler in hot, sunny conditions. coldblack® reflects up to 80% of the sun's rays (both UV-A and UV-B) making wearing dark colors feel like you are wearing white. coldblack® technology also guarantees a minimum 30 UPF protection without affecting the look and feel of the fabric making an effective protection against harmful UV rays.
coldblack® finished textiles consistently test 5°C on the interior and 12°C on the exterior cooler in sweating torso tests than the same textiles not treated. With heat absorption significantly reduced, the wearer perspires less, fells better and is capable of greater performance.
