Ride Snowboards Teams Up with Klipsch as Official Headphone Partner

SEATTLE, Wash. — The music just got better. Today, Ride Snowboards, a worldwide leader in the snowboard industry, announces a strategic partnership with Klipsch, a leading global speaker manufacturer. The Klipsch brand—specifically its headphones—will be featured within select Ride marketing channels to enhance and extend the reach of current marketing initiatives, and increase brand awareness within the relevant consumer market.

“At Ride we’re always looking to infuse more fun into the sport and lifestyle of snowboarding,” said Scott Mavis, vice president of global marketing at Ride Snowboards. “Partnering with Klipsch is a win-win for Ride fans and music lovers alike who demand a superior audio product that fits their way of life. The partnership will also allow us to do some cool creative collabs.”

To create a direct connection to Rides’ target market of snowboarders and active, outdoor enthusiasts seeking premium products, the partnership will begin with introduction into the associated channels, as well as co-branded messaging and customized giveaway opportunities to benefit Ride fans.

Given the nature of the partnership, communications will focus on Ride’s brand visibility and on Klipsch’s made-for-outdoor headphone products, which include the Image® S4i™ Rugged and Image® A5i Sport. Through numerous co-branded efforts, Klipsch and Ride will work to stimulate product trial and sales to a meaningful audience, while ultimately showcasing both category-leading brands for athletes.

“It’s an absolute pleasure to join a fellow industry-leading brand that presents endless opportunity and access to such a large, unique audience,” said Mike Klipsch, president of global operations for Klipsch. “As we join forces, we look forward to capitalizing on our many similarities to create a long-term relationship with Ride Snowboards and its passionate following.”
