Kids can submit their personal artwork to possibly appear on next year’s boots

Portland, OR. (August 9, 2018) – BOGS° Footwear, the brand known for innovative technology and original prints, is looking for an up-and-coming artist to lend their personal artwork to next year’s boots. The ‘Design a Boot’ contest is now open and accepting submissions from budding young illustrators from across the US and Canada for a chance to be featured on a future kids boot. Until September 3, 2018, creatives from ages 0 to 18 are asked to download an entry, apply their artistic skills, and send in their ideas to

Judging will take place in two age groups: 0 to 9 and 10 to 18, with 2 grand prize winners in each age group. Each will receive one pair of free Bogs boots and Bogs will use the winning print design as inspiration for a future kids boot. The following year (2019), when the boot is sold, Bogs will give a portion of the proceeds to Outdoor Education initiatives.

Last year’s winners – Natalie Feliciano (age group: 0-9) and Kaitlyn Leeson (age group: 10-18) had their designs created and sold on boots this past fall.
