Outdoor Industry Association Announces Budgeting Webinar for Retailers

On Wednesday, February 25, Outdoor Industry Association and The Mann Group will present Budgeting, Part 1, a live Webinar workshop designed to provide retailers financial planning tools to increase sales and gross profit.

On Wednesday, February 25, from 2:00 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. (MST) Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) and The Mann Group (TMG), a retail consulting firm specializing in retail management, training and strategic planning, will present Budgeting, Part 1, a live Webinar workshop designed to provide retailers financial planning tools to increase sales and gross profit in this rapidly changing environment.

Budgeting, Part 1 is the first of a six-part course focusing on crucial aspects of financial management for small businesses. Topics will range from budgeting to inventory management, staffing and cash flow. Budgeting, Part 1 will cover the basic philosophy of financial planning for retail, how to increase sales, how to define and increase gross profit, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), strategy planning for opportunity departments and how to ensure sales growth exceeds inflation.
