Oboz Flips Out with Two New Flip Flops for 2010

Oboz' rugged new Dyno and Sling are coming to market in spring 2010.

Oboz – the outdoor footwear brand based in Bozeman, Montana – is adding two rugged and comfortable flip flops to its new offerings for spring 2010, expanding its True to the Trail™ line of shoes and boots for hiking, trail running, backpacking and scrambling. The new styles will be delivered to retailers in spring.

The two new flip flops—the Sling and the Dyno—feature an anatomically-designed footbed with significant arch support and a sculpted heel cup, topped with a textured no-slip layer. Below, two densities of EVA give long lasting support and cushioning. A lugged outsole, made of non-marking high-friction carbon rubber, gives outstanding, trail-worthy traction. Tubular webbing straps are soft and comfortable.

The Sling ($44.00) features multiple straps that criss-cross and hold the foot comfortably.

The climbing-inspired Dyno ($49.00), with its soft, sling-like tubular webbing and aluminum buckle, has a continuous loop of webbing that is fully adjustable to secure the fit and hold around the toes and across the foot. The buckle can be tightened for control and performance, or loosened for casual flopping around.
