SALT LAKE CITY, UT (June 24, 2008) – At 9:46 p.m. on June 18, Melissa Kostic of Sports Specialty Venture took the two-millionth 3point5.com “Edu-Game” on her home computer in Denver. The new milestone – reached just eight months after the one-millionth test was taken – demonstrates 3point5.com's rapid growth as the online trainer continues to penetrate outdoor sports and moves strongly into hunt and fish and action sports.

A Hudson Trail Outfitters retail sales professional took the one-millionth 3point5.com Edu-Game in October of 2007, a milestone that took nearly two years to reach.

“The first million Edu-Games validated our training model, but getting to 2 million so quickly says we're here to stay,” said 3point5.com CEO Duncan Robins.

3point5.com user statistics back that statement up. When the company passed 1 million Edu-Games last October, it had 45,000 users working out of 6,100 retail locations. Today, 3point5.com hosts 77,000 users working out of 9,700 locations. The company recently entered into a partnership to train 7,600 full-time Cabela's employees, and new manufacturer training sites are going up every month.

Kostic who began working at Denver-based SSV in March, said it was her first time training on 3point5.com. A co-worker recommended she try the site, and she began by learning about the Teva ‘08 product line.

“I thought it was interesting because it gave you a good background on the product,” Kostic said.

Convenience was another plus for the 33-year-old, who took the training in the evening on her home computer.

“To be able to take these tests and shop from the comforts of my home was nice - I don't really have that much time during the day to take the time out to shop online,” Kostic said.

Based in Denver, Specialty Sports Venture is comprised of more than 140 premier ski, bike, golf, and fly fishing shops.

3point5.com Edu-Games test retail salespeople on brand, technology and product knowledge delivered through the company's entertaining, interactive, Web-based training system. By passing Edu-Games, sales professionals earn discounts on outdoor products they sell - at the same time empowering managers with a tool for tracking training progress and employee purchases.
