Launched in 2008, KOR has successfully expanded to 21 countries across the globe and is recognized as one of the most forward-thinking, innovation-driven water advocates to date. The addition of Hoskinson further solidifies KOR's leadership position in the water bottle industry.
Prior to joining KOR's global team, Hoskinson spent many years developing, building and expanding companies like CROCS, Ray Ban, Bolle and Briko. “The world did not need another shoe. However, at CROCS, we proved that an innovative, value-driven, original product with numerous features and benefits had a home,†said Hoskinson. “In the same regard, KOR Water is spot on.â€
Hoskinson was the first employee at CROCS as the Director of Key Account Sales. He grew the national sales from $3M in 2005 to $27M in 2010. He has vast experience in both entrepreneurship and sales from years as National Sale Manager for Bolle, Western U.S. Sales Manager for Ray Ban and Director of Sales for both CROCS and Briko. He now joins KOR Water as a “hired gun†to hit the market hard.
“KOR Water is a part of a very crowded market,†said Hoskinson. “But their constant thirst for new design, uniqueness and innovation is what sets them apart and ahead of the pack. The KOR vessels have soul, and I like that.â€
“We're thrilled to have Dave on our team,†said Eric Barnes, co-founder and CEO of KOR Water. “He offers a unique mix of drive, creativity and executive management experience. Now that KOR has grown into a global business, we believe Dave can help take the brand to the next level.â€
KOR Water has taken its business worldwide, spreading water advocacy with every sip in 21 countries, including markets in Australia, Singapore, Canada, Kuwait and South Africa.
“We will continue to look into strategic channels to help KOR spread its product and advocacy,†said Hoskinson. “A global shift is happening and KOR is at the forefront of personal change and hydration.â€
Hoskinson began his water crusade with KOR Water on July 5, 2011.
