Dynafit, the leader of the light-and-fast backcountry ski revolution, is pleased to announce that world-renowned ski mountaineer Greg Hill, has become a Dynafit brand ambassador and sponsored athlete. A long-time Dynafit user, Hill will ski on the complete Dynafit system of skis, boots, and bindings for all of his backcountry ski adventures.

Hill is continually setting the standard for what can be achieved in the backcountry and is best known for touring 50,000 feet in one day - earning him the world record for the most vertical feet climbed and skied in 24 hours. In order to be the best, you have to ski the best, and that's precisely why Hill has chosen to use Dynafit products – Including the company's new Titan TF-X Boot, the lightest, stiffest, and best performing touring boot in the freeride class. Hill will also ski on the Editor's Choice Award-winning Manaslu ski and will play an integral role in future product design and development.

Hill, who resides in Revelstoke BC, has been skiing distant peaks in Alaska, New Zealand, Europe and all over North America for the last decade, pushing the boundaries of backcountry skiing. In 2004-05, Hill toured a million feet of backcountry skiing over the course of 145 days, and during the 2006-07 winter, he toured 80 ten-thousand-foot days, totaling 990,000 feet for the season. In the summer of 2008, Hill compiled his best footage from the previous winter and created "The Unbearable Lightness of Skiing" which won Best Short Movie in the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival and also made the Finals in the Banff International Mountain Film Festival and was included on its World Tour. You can follow Hill's adventures on his blog – greghill.squarespace.com.

Hill's striking image also graces the landing page of Dynafit's new North American microsite. Due to rapid growth throughout the continent, Dynafit North America has recently launched a new microsite featuring the best of the North American product assortment. Inside, users can access extensive product information on Dynafit's Freeride Touring products, read athlete articles and brand news, and sign up to win a free pair of Titan boots through the Dynafit Titan TF-X Boot Giveaway.
