Flylow, manufacturer of freeride, mountain apparel, was picked as a finalist for an ispo BrandNew Award in the sportswear category. The BrandNew Awards recognize the most innovative startups in the outdoor industry displaying their products at ispo, and the jurists chose Flylow for their combination of uphill and downhill functionality with freeride styling in their apparel designs. Flylow joins Asigh Clothing, Gococo Ab, Kossman, Riyoko Urban Bikewear, Tribus, and Triple2 as a finalist in the category.
"Flylow is honored to be recognized as a stand-out amongst an international field of exhibitors at ispo," says Dan Abrams, Flylow co-founder. "The added exposure that comes with the recognition will help us expand our reach to new markets."
Finalists receive a booth space in the ispo BrandNew Village, a page on the ispo website, recognition in the BrandNew magazine and CD, as well as several other added exposure opportunities. Ispo 2011 will take place in Munich, Germany from February 6th-9th.
Founded by two lifelong friends and skiers who saw a gap in the ski outwear market, Flylow clothing is built to have the mobility and functionality of mountaineering gear and the durability, fit and style of freeride apparel. Flylow products will stand up to the harshest conditions, whether you’re lapping in-bounds steeps, climbing a skin track, hitting a kicker in the park or drinking a frosty beverage on your tailgate at the end of the day. Flylow products are available at specialty outdoor retailers nationwide and www.flylowgear.com.
For 10 years ispo BrandNew has been regarded as the barometer of future trends and will be presented at the ispo 11 for the 20th time. The competition aims to give young entrepreneurs and their sports products a stage where they can introduce themselves to the market. For that purpose the best products receive a booth at ispo and are promoted in numerous means of communication.
