As the exclusive distributor of the popular adventure kayaking film, Mission: Epicocity, The Heliconia Press is proud to announce that the film has just won National Geographic's Best Online Adventure Flick Competition, placing first in the Top Ten.

Mission: Epicocity is the enormously popular follow-up to Epicocity's award-winning Bigger Than Rodeo which was selected as Video of the Year in 2005 by Kayak Magazine. Two years in the making, Mission: Epicocity follows some of the best kayakers in the world as they travel to Zambia, Uganda, Chile, Argentina, United States and Canada where they perform breathtaking, death-defying kayaking drops, runs and freestyle moves. The nonstop action includes stunning footage of the biggest waterfalls ever successfully run in a kayak.

“In a competition like this where we were up against filmmakers with much larger budgets, we are thrilled to have our efforts recognized by such a prestigious organization as National Geographic—especially given its renown in bringing its audiences stunning footage and photography from around the world,” says Trip Jennings, Epicocity Project Founder.
