El Naturalista is pleased to announce the creation of the Department of Corporate Social Responsibility (DCSR). This department is charged with coordinating all of El Naturalista's existing philanthropic activities as well as developing new initiatives.

The DCSR reaffirms El Naturalista's social conscience and the company's commitment to social and environmental responsibility. The creation of this department further demonstrates that a company can in fact “caminar por la vida” or “walk through life” on a corporate path that respects and values both human and natural resources.

The Atauchi Project, an essential part of the DCSR, will continue supporting El Naturalista's initiatives to care for and educate children in need. To date, El Naturalista has donated more than 150.000 Euros (approximately $ 218,000) to this humanitarian effort. The Atauchi Project is currently focused on completing “The City of Hope”, a home for disabled and abandoned children in Arequipa, Peru. This home will provide care for 113 children.

In addition to overseeing the Atauchi Project, the new department will increase El Natualista's collaboration with two non-profit organizations in Arnedo, Spain, the location of El Natualista's main production facility: La Asociación de Discapacitados (Arnedo Disabled Persons Association) and el Grupo de Perros de Salvamento de Arnedo (Arnedo Dog Search & Rescue Team).
