Brooks-Range Expands Outerwear Line, Adds Gloves and Sleeping Bags

Brooks-Range Mountaineering (ORSM Booth #8050) continues to expand its collection of backcountry gear with a variety of soft-goods that will appeal to the core mountaineer as well as the weekend warrior. Consumers who love Brooks-Range for its high quality, innovative gear will enjoy a whole new outerwear collection that offers both shells and insulated jackets with a variety of weights. Brooks-Range is also introducing a waterproof, breathable glove collection and has redesigned its sleeping bag collection to withstand the rigors of cold-weather camping. • Black Mountain Jacket: Constructed with durable Polartec® Power Shield windproof, breathable fabric that offers protection from the elements, this jacket is perfectly designed for high aerobic activities. The Black Mountain is non-insulated, lightweight, compact and features zippered side pockets, chest pockets, hem drawcords and an attached adjustable hood. MSRP $240.00

• Isto Jacket: Ideal for trail runners, snowshoeing and other high aerobic activities, the Isto is extremely lightweight and features a highly breathable and water-repellent softshell fabric. The Isto Jacket also features zippered side pockets, chest pockets, and hem drawcords. MSRP $100.00

• Hooded Down Sweater: Catering to the adventurist who prefers down over a synthetic insulation, the Hooded Down Sweater features 800-fill high-quality goose down. The Down Sweater is super lightweight, has a contour fit, and is constructed with Pertex Quantum fabric making it durable and comfortable. The wearer will enjoy the zippered hand pockets as well as the internal chest pocket, which also serves as a pouch for the entire sweater (so it can also be used as a down pillow!). • Down Sweater: This super lightweight, compactable sweater that can be worn alone or as a layer piece. The Down Sweater features 800-fill high-quality goose down, has a contour fit, and is constructed with Pertex Quantum fabric making it durable and comfortable. This lightly insulated jacket uses Primaloft One insulation in the bodice and Brushed Tricot in the arms to create a jacket that is compact and comfortable. • Brisa Jacket: This midweight wind shirt is ideal for when the wearer needs an extra layer, but the option to stash it in his/her pack when the temp rises. Brush Tricot is used in the bodice for added warmth, combined with no lining in the arms. • Venta Windshirt: This extremely lightweight wind shirt looks great, but also proves to be functional and compacts down for a daypack. The Venta Windshirt is made with 15d lightweight Pertex Quantum fabric and features a hood that can be pulled out or tucked away. • Accent Glove: The Accent glove excels in both durability and dexterity, while providing maximum warmth. The balance of a 100% waterproof insert, highly breathable 4-way stretch softshell fabric, soft goat leather palms and EVA padded knuckles creates an all-round glove that is ideal for climbing and backcountry skiing. SLEEPING BAGS
