A new coat of paint gives this old auto parts store new purpose as Half-Moon Outfitters.

Half-Moon Outfitters breathed new life into a 15,000-square-foot auto parts building by relocating its Greenville store and inviting three other businesses to share the space.

The location is now home to one of eight Half-Moon stores along with Grace Coffee Company, Circa Barbershop, and Tetrad Brewing Company.

  • Circa Barbershop also has two other locations in Columbia and specializes in men's grooming.
  • Tetrad Brewing Company is a microbrewery startup by brothers-in-law Chad Tydings and John Bucher. Its 3.5 barrel system will produce classic beer styles with a modern twist to serve at the family-friendly taproom.

“Beer, coffee, a haircut, and all the best outdoor products under one roof—what more could you hope for," Half-Moon employee Katherine Smith said. "A new world—one stop shop!"

Half-Moon is calling the space an "adaptive reuse or in-fill development" that avoids sprawl. Like its other stores, the new location was remodeled around Green Construction philosophies and uses awnings with solar arrays to power the businesses.
