Nemo Equipment, in Dover, N.H., has added six new management positions and people to the company, which is expected to increase its sales by 50 to 70 percent in 2012.

“We had begun to get ahead of ourselves, with the quality and innovation of our products outstripping our ability to get them on shelves and tell the complete story,” said Nemo Founder and President Cam Brensinger.

Earlier this year, the company best known for its tents launched into the sleeping bag category, adding to its sleeping pad line and other camping products.

The new positions increased Nemo’s staff 19 people, and, Brensinger noted, six dogs.

>> Product Coordinator Blake Fowler, who also served in the U.S. Army, with a tour in Afghanistan. He’ll be in charge of scheduling and tracking product development and streamlining product commercialization processes.
